Woody Harrelson playing Han Solo’s mentor in upcoming Star Wars anthology film

Disney has officially confirmed the participation of Woody Harrelson to play the mentor of the famous smuggler Han Solo, in the upcoming Star Wars film focus on the origins of the pilot of the Millennium Falcon with premiere scheduled for May 2018.

Now it is Alden Ehrenreich’s turn to give life to a young Han Solo (played before by Harrison Ford), alongside Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian and Emilia Clarke in a role yet to be announced.

Protagonists of Rogue One signed with Disney for two films, now it is rumored that Diego Luna could make appearance in the anthology of Han Solo. When he was asked about at the Golden Globes, the Mexican replied: “Who knows?”

Han Solo’s spin-off will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, The LEGO Movie).
