Google puts Office in check with their Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Docs working Offline

Despite all the advances it is inevitable that sometimes you are not connected to the internet. In view of this fact Google has launched its offline application for Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Docs.

Once you install the app you will be able to can continue using Gmail even when you don’t have internet access, by clicking on the icon of the application listed in the new tab view in Chrome.

With Google Calendar and Google Docs offline functionality is different because it is not through an app. In Google Calendar you can see events on your calendar and confirm your attendance at appointments. With Google Docs you can view documents and spreadsheets without connection. Offline editing functionality is not ready yet, but is in development. To start using Google Calendar and Google Docs offline, just click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Web application and select the option to access offline.

This trio of Google offline applications for free is like putting the famous Microsoft Office in check.
