In the sixth season, Dexter embarks himself into some kind of spiritual quest trying to figure out what is going to be the legacy he will leave to his son, Harry. He doesn’t want his son to get the “dark passenger”.

Last season, Dexter was somewhat disturbed by the death of Rita and trying to fulfill his duties as a father. Now it seems that we will see the Dexter we all know, but more confident, focused, and evolved.
This season will also feature the appearance of some new characters, as a religious studies professor that represent a new kind of serial killer.
