Sony demonstrates an incredible augmented reality with SmartAR

Sony is showing great progress in the field of augmented reality with their SmartAR technology. We are talking not only to recognize card’s patterns, now it does recognize full objects and recreate an interaction between real and virtual world with a better response.

We can see that Sony’s ambitions go beyond positioning augmented reality technology in the PlayStation, to take it virtually anywhere where we are.

Augmented reality is having its best moment, we have seen it implemented in the video games consoles like the Nintendo 3DS, PS Move, and on the NGP (PSP2). And now for sure, we’ll be experimenting with it much more on all kind of applications.
