Jaguar XJ console integrated with BlackBerry #BBWC

At BlackBerry World Conference, Jaguar showed a prototype of Connect and View technology built in the sedan XJ console. This is a project they had been working with RIM, RealVNC and Denso. Watch the video below.

The system allows a client on the vehicle’s player to connect to a server installed on a BlackBerry device. The result is full control of your smartphone directly from the console, and the company is able to block the applications that could potentially distract the driver (such as text messages). The device can also charge while it’s connected.
