Sony debuts this year in the tablet’s world with their S1 and S2 models

Sony joins the tablet’s battle, confirming on Monday that they’re lauching this fall 2 tablets on the market, so far identified as S1 and S2. Both come with Android 3.0, WiFi enabled and WAN support (3G/4G).

The S1 tablet has a 9.4” screen while the S2 comes with a double screen of 5.5” each, capable of closing like a netbook to be reduced to half of its size.

There is no details about the technical specifications, but by what we see in the video we can guess that those tablets will have front and rear cameras, and a screen resolution around the 1024×800 pixels for the S1 and about 1024×400 pixels for each screen of the S2.
