Electronic Arts reveals “Battlefield 1” inspired in World War I.

Electronic Arts has revealed the new release of Battlefield at their headquarters in Redwood Shores, California. The new shooter called Battlefield 1 is set in World War I. The trailer was produced with actual gameplay footage, the result is amazing.

“We chose Battlefield 1 because it is the true dawn of modern warfare”, said Daniel Berlin, chief designer at DICE. Multiplayer will involve 64 players in battles on different locations, as Verdún, the Italian Alps and Arabia, among others.

Berlin also announced that Battlefield 1 will offer a wide variety play modes and heavy vehicles like tanks, armored vehicles, airplanes propeller exploration and bombers. The player can enter the battlefield with a horse and battleships with the ability to “completely demolish a beach”.

There will return some classics game classes like the Medic, Support and Scout. There will also be dedicated classes that support combat vehicles, such as Tank Officer and Pilot.

Battlefield 1 hit the market on October 21th and will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
